FORK ‘N’ THE ROAD | GL.A.M. COCINA | FAMILY RECIPE, REVISED
a tasty recipe I experimented with & cooked up earlier this year:
canned salmon (have to remove the bones)
1 small onion (diced)
1 green pepper (diced)
1 red pepper (diced)
gluten-free bread crumbs (1/4 cup)
1 egg (free ranged)
black pepper & sea salt (to taste)
lemon juice (1 tbsp.)
oil (canola or whatever oil to your liking)
In a mixing bowl, except for oil, mix all the ingredients together (with your hands). Take the salmon mixture and form it into mini-burger size or hamburger size patties. Fry patties in very hot oil until bottom side is brown and crusty then flip over. Once other side is brown and crusty remove from frying pan and place on a dish with paper towel to remove any excess oils.
